Essential Costa Rica
Essential COSTA RICA is our country brand. That is how Costa Rica projects itself to the world, comprehensively promoting tourism, exports, and foreign investment, all in tandem with the national culture.

Certification for Sustainable Tourism (CST)
Camino Travel was originally part of a pilot program of sustainability by the Costa Rican Tourism Board in 1997. The project´s objective was to categorize tourism companies based on the degree to which their operation approached a sustainability model in terms of management of natural, cultural, and social resources. Camino Travel currently holds four leaves of the CST.

Cámara Nacional de Turismo (CANATUR)
The National Chamber of Tourism is a non-profit organization that brings together the highest hierarchy of chambers and associations of Costa Rica´s private tourism business industry. Camino Travel is an active member since its foundation in 1991.

Code of Conduct: Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT)
The Code of Conduct against Child Sexual Exploitation in Tourism is promoted by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in collaboration with the Costa Rica Tourism Board and other local partners. Camino Group is an active member since 2008.

Asociación Costarricense de Operadores de Turismo (ACOT)
The Costa Rican Tour Operators Association (ACOT) is a private, non-profit entity, which brings together the most qualified tour operators in Costa Rica to promote and develop our industry through collaboration. Camino Travel is an active member since its founding in 1991.

Costa Rica Convention Bureau (CRCVB)
A non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Costa Rica as a highly attractive meeting and incentive destination. Currently, with 72 members (hotels, DMCs, PCO's, attractions, and suppliers), it conglomerates top-of-the-line businesses with vast experience in the management, planning, and execution of incentive programs and meetings. Premio DMC is a founding member of the CRCVB, and Camino Group´s President, Helena Chavarría Saxe, is currently a member of the Board of Directors.

American Chamber of Commerce Costa Rica (AMCHAM)
AMCHAM is the largest binational chamber of commerce in Costa Rica, promoting investment and bilateral trade between the United States and Costa Rica since 1973. AMCHAM seeks to improve Costa Rica’s competitiveness to ensure optimum conditions for our members to operate in and grow their business.

Women Owned
Women Owned is an initiative from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WEConnect International to support women-owned businesses. The organization supports female entrepreneurs and those who do business with them by raising awareness of why, where, and how to buy Women Owned products and services.

Euromic
Euromic is a non-profit association owned by its members: leading DMCs worldwide. Since 1973, its sole mission has been to provide the global industry of meetings and incentives with a secure and professional platform to ensure the best talent at the service of clients, facilitating the exchange of knowledge among colleagues around the world. The membership is by invitation only.

Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE)
The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) is the only Business Events association dedicated exclusively to the global incentive travel industry.
Founded in 1973, it is a professional association of 2,500 members located in 90 countries, working in corporations, agencies, DMCs, airlines, cruise companies and across the entire destination supply chain.

Pack for a Purpose: Small Space. Little Effort. Big Impact
Pack for a Purpose is an international non-profit organization, completely voluntary, that promotes the use of free space in the luggage of travelers to bring and donate school supplies and hygiene products, among other things, to local communities and institutions in the destinations they visit.
